Advanced Engineering is taking place on 30 & 31 October 2024 at the NEC, Birmingham
This manual has been put together as a reference to use whilst planning for the event. Taking the time to read through now, will ensure that you are well prepared for the event and enable you to make the most out of your time onsite.
It is also important to ensure that you are familiar with all show and venue regulations and that these have been shared with any third party contractors you may be appointing to work for you on the event.

Important Deadlines & Forms
Ensuring the health and safety of all participants at our event is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we kindly ask that you complete the Health & Safety form by September 18th, 2024, to provide us with essential information about your stand. This will help us to identify any potential hazards and ensure that the necessary precautions are taken to prevent any accidents or injuries from occurring.
In addition, completing the Health & Safety form will also help us to better understand the unique needs of your stand and make any necessary adjustments to accommodate these needs. This will help us to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.

It is important that you complete the risk assessment form before the given deadline, which is on September 18th, 2024. By filling out this form, you can identify and prevent any potential risks that may arise on your stand. This is crucial to ensure a safe and successful event for everyone involved.

The Grid plan is essential for all exhibitors who have placed orders for electrics, spotlights or shell extras. The Grid plan ensures your stand fittings and electrics are placed as you desire.

The Shell Amendments form is a valuable resource for exhibitors who have purchased a shell scheme package. This form provides exhibitors with the flexibility to customize their stand by adding or removing certain elements, such as fascia, walls, or furniture. In this way, exhibitors can create a stand that is perfectly tailored to their needs and preferences.
Please note the deadline for shell amendments are the 18th of September 2024.

All Space only exhibitors must complete space only stand plans and all supporting documents, including RAMS to admin@opssquad.co.uk
Your stand plans must include the following:
- Stand company name and number
- Contractor contact details
- Contractor onsite contact details
- Detailed stand plans, including all measurements/dimensions
- Stand visual
- Contractor Risk Assessment
- Method Statement
- Type of Flooring you will be using
- Electrical Plans
- Rigging Plans, if applicable
- A copy of your stand contractor’s Public Liability Insurance certificate
Please pay particular attention to the operational deadlines & forms section of this manual.
Whilst not all forms are compulsory, the health & safety declaration, risk assessment, grid plans and space only form must all be completed prior to your arrival onsite and before you can occupy your stand at Advanced Engineering 2024.

Please check the deadlines section of the manual for all important show deadlines. This includes the Health and Safety Form, Risk Assessment form, and Grid Plan. These are essential for your stand and will help ensure that everything runs smoothly

If you are doing a live demonstration on stage or during a speaker session please complete the Live Demonstration Form.
You must provide detailed information by the 1st September on the treatment and persons performing to gain permission to demonstrate at the show.

All space only exhibitors must complete the Space Only Submission Form and upload all necessary documentation for approval by the 1st September 2023. These plans will then be checked to ensure they comply with the venue and local authority regulations detailed later in the space only section.
Exhibitor Stand Orders
Early ordering via the MyEasyfairs web shop and the prompt completion of forms for any extra services will not only give you peace of mind, but will also ensure you do not incur any late order surcharges. Please refer to the deadlines & forms checklist for further details.
The deadline for early bird stand orders is the 18th September 2024.
Orders after this date are subject to a 20% late surcharge. Graphics orders need to be placed by the 30th of September and artwork submitted by the 7th of October.

If you receive such a communication, it is certainly fraudulent and does not come from Easyfairs.
Easyfairs never sells visitor data to third parties.
The data provided by these companies is most of the time either inaccurate, incomplete, of poor quality, or even fake and/or have been gathered or acquired in contravention of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Any use that such companies make of the name Easyfairs or Advanced Engineering is without our authorisation and is illegal.
Please do not respond to these emails. On no account should you make any payments to the companies behind them.
Please inform Easyfairs if you receive any such solicitations so we can warn others.
